This projector has very good grayscale OOTB, with its smallest DeltaE errors being 2.3 (which is barely visible to the trained eye). It also showed a lot of subtle color differences for instance, when Adam slammed his light staff into the ground.
Other features include 3D Support Keystone Correction, 3D Support, and Automatic Focus. These features simplify installation. It also supports the normal BenQ setup options. It doesn't support vertical focus or lens shift. It does have an image distortion feature that can be beneficial in less-than ideal installations however it can affect the image quality.
GP500 Platinum
The GP500 includes a range of standard and a few not so common convenience and quality of life features such as Keystone and Corner Fit which digitally warp the image to aid in installation issues and an Toslink optical Audio Out jack that mutes the built-in speaker when headphones or an alternative speaker system is plugged in as well as Bluetooth capability that allows it to function as a wireless transmitter for music playback. 3D playback is also supported as well.
Subjectively, I found that the GP500 had very accurate grayscale OOTB. I measured a DeltaE value of 2.3 which is lower than the amount visible to the human eye. This is quite good. The Dynamic Contrast function really added depth to Life of Pi's few night scenes, and the color display was superb. Avatar was very impressive too.
GP500 Black
The GP500 is Pinlock Max Vision-ready and tear-off ready and has opening tabs on both sides of the shield. It has a shield locking system to stop it from opening during riding (or an accident). The rear of the helmet is equipped with a double-d-ring fastener that is non-tool-operated.
The auto-focus function was very quick and it worked well creating clear, crisp images with a variety of distinct shades. It had some issues with the darker night scenes in Life of Pi, but otherwise it produced a very cinematic look.
There aren't any racer graphics for the GP500 but you can buy Airoh Sectors, Scrape and Cosmos in a plain black finish. You can also purchase it with Rockstar, Drive and Check graphics for a more focused track appearance.
GP500 White

The built-in DLP Link glasses can also be used to activate 3D playback. It's wonderful to know that this projector is still able to support this feature considering certain brands have stopped supporting it recently.
The GP500 White has a number of features that can enhance the user experience, including Keystone and Corner Fit. Corner Fit is a digital image warping feature. These features can be helpful for installations that aren't ideal as they allow you to display a flat picture. However, they can degrade the image quality. This is a crucial aspect to take into consideration. The GP500 produced extremely clean and distinct colors, and also provided excellent grayscale performance OOTB.

The GP500 is a stylish and elegant road mobility scooter that puts comfort, safety and performance first.
